Enjoy that bagel, Precious.

Tracy was in a bad mood last Saturday. She was tired and we had a full day of baking ahead of us. Normally I can charm her out of it but she wasn’t falling for my tricks. It was going to be a loooong day for me.

Then Steve Porter walked in.

Tracy has been listening to Steve’s morning talk show on her daily commute for years. He said a lot of people had been telling him about us and wanted to know if we’d be up for a quick interview for his other gig, the Myrtle Beach Herald.  We weren’t expecting it, but Steve made it a very easy interview. We loaded him up with some goodies to try out and Tracy’s mood turned a full 180 for the rest of the day (my sincerest personal thanks, Steve). Tracy’s Dad called us first thing this morning to let us know he also mentioned us on his radio show along with us getting a giant front page mention on this week’s Business section.

We really appreciate being recognized by our local media and organizations. It feels like we’re making progress to becoming a fixture in the community. It really keeps us going during these slower times!
