Remember our DoggedDogdom.com giveaway? Well the winners have recently been announced and the prize packages went out a couple of days ago. Even though Leigh of GoFetchGifts.com and Anne-Marie Gates entered the contest, we think the dogs Mr. Blue and Dutchess were the real winners!

Both winners got their prize packages today and sent us photos along with notes of thanks. GoFetchGifts.com even took the time put a nice little write up on their blog! Though we never expect anything in return for our prize offerings, we are incredibly flattered when people take time from their busy schedules to let us know they love our products. Getting the opportunity to put our fresh baked treats and custom photo packaging into new customers hands is exactly why we sponsor these contests.

It feels incredibly good to provide a product and service that brings so much joy to our customers and their pets. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. But when one of our customers took the time to post a video of their dogs enjoying our treats, we were downright flattered! Here’s the videos:

Tracy was in a bad mood last Saturday. She was tired and we had a full day of baking ahead of us. Normally I can charm her out of it but she wasn’t falling for my tricks. It was going to be a loooong day for me.

Then Steve Porter walked in.

Tracy has been listening to Steve’s morning talk show on her daily commute for years. He said a lot of people had been telling him about us and wanted to know if we’d be up for a quick interview for his other gig, the Myrtle Beach Herald.  We weren’t expecting it, but Steve made it a very easy interview. We loaded him up with some goodies to try out and Tracy’s mood turned a full 180 for the rest of the day (my sincerest personal thanks, Steve). Tracy’s Dad called us first thing this morning to let us know he also mentioned us on his radio show along with us getting a giant front page mention on this week’s Business section.

We really appreciate being recognized by our local media and organizations. It feels like we’re making progress to becoming a fixture in the community. It really keeps us going during these slower times!

Although we’ve just gotten started with our little pet bakery, customer reviews have already begun to pop up online. These reviews mean so much to us because it gives us true insight to our customers’ experiences and it really flatters us that anyone would take the time to write actual complete sentences about us!
